Bomberman on Your Phone, No App Needed

Classic Boomers runs straight from the browser on iPhone, iPad and Android. Touch controls, online lobbies and bots all work on mobile, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.

Touch controls

A virtual D-pad sits on the left of the screen and a big bomb button on the right. The game works in portrait and landscape. Landscape gives you the full map at once, portrait is easier to hold with one hand.

Add to home screen

Classic Boomers is a progressive web app. In Safari tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome on Android open the menu and tap Install app. You get an icon and a full-screen game without going through an app store.

Play with friends from your phone

Create a lobby, copy the 5-letter code and send it through WhatsApp or any messenger, and friends join from their own phone or PC. Phone against PC in the same match works fine. Read more on the online multiplayer page.

Data and battery

The game is small and only sends tiny game-state messages, so it is fine on mobile data. It does render at 60 frames per second, which uses some battery during long sessions.
